Mountain States Meat Goat Association is dedicated to the promotion of Meat Goats in the Intermountain West.  We offer family oriented activities,  assistance in the marketing of meat goats,  informational & educational seminars,  and show opportunities for breeders.

Mountain States Meat Goat Association Mission Statement

  • To operate as a nonprofit organization to promote and expand quality knowledge and marketing of the meat goats in the Mountain States region.
  • To engage in any and all activities and pursuits in the development of better and improved agricultural products; specifically meat goat products, through a system of awards, using income from entry fees, dues, and donations to meet the necessary expenses of upkeep and operation.
  • To promote various agricultural activities among members and the public, through exhibition of meat goats, seminars on meat goats, guarding the purity of meat goats, encouraging improvements in the production of meat goats, and negotiating with processors for the price to be paid to members for their products.
